How it began... Rebecca and I were both in secure jobs before we took a gamble on opening a wedding and entertainment venue. We originally opened as a tea room one side of the building and an entertainment venue in the big room. It was January 2017 when we first opened the doors. We quickly became busy with functions and shows, and the tea room was thriving too with Becs homemade cakes. I have always had a passion for good food, and started to create little specials' menus for lunchtimes, which also became very popular. In 2018 we changed the tea room into a restaurant and was making great meals at affordable prices and in September 2017 we started our carvery, which has gone from strength to strength winning awards for best carvery, carvery of the year 2018.
As we all know COVID19 hit hard in March 2019 and we, and every other business was closed to the public, we had to adapt to survive, and so we birthed our delivery service. We were the only business in the area that offered Sunday roast delivery and we smashed it! and we are still thriving from this service now. As I became more confident I began to create better and more adventurous menus which have been a real people pleaser.
All our food is cooked fresh to order and is homemade, no chef Mic in our kitchen.
